Oval wastewater treatment plants with MBBR technology

Wastewater treatment plants of the AT 150 MBBR SL to AT 450 MBBR SL series are designed as single-tank WWTPs that can also be connected in multiple lines in parallel.
Components and equipment of oval wastewater treatment plants:
- integrated blower shaft
- membrane blowers (230V) or roots blowers (400V)
- AQC Basic control unit for wastewater treatment plants (possibility of using a GSM module for remote control and management of the wastewater treatment plant)
AT MBBR SL wastewater treatment plants are used for the treatment of sewage wastewater from residential buildings, apartments, hotels and guesthouses, restaurants, schools, caravans and campsites, businesses and industry. AT MBBR SL wastewater treatment plants use the moving bed biofilm reactor process (moving bed biofilm reactor = MBBR).
The AT 150 to 450 MBBR SL range of wastewater treatment plants is designed for decentralized and semi-centralized wastewater treatment solutions in the range of 22.5 to 67.5 m3/day, using a single biological reactor of the WWTP.
The wastewater treatment plants can be expanded by installing multiple wastewater treatment lines in parallel.

Description of the oval wastewater treatment plant Aquatec AT MBBR
Oval wastewater treatment plants with MBBR technology - biocarrier AT MBBR SL wastewater treatment plants use the moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) process. The device consists of one oval tank made of polypropylene - a biological reactor, which combines the following processes in one tank: primary/mechanical treatment, accumulation of primary and secondary sludge, biological treatment using the MBBR process and separation of purified water and sludge in a lamella settler.
The biological reactor is divided into three parts:
- Primary treatment chamber,
- Biological treatment chambers,
- Lamella settler.
Raw wastewater flows by gravity or is pumped from an upstream pumping station to the primary treatment chamber of the AT MBBR wastewater treatment plant.
Wastewater treatment plants of the AT MBBR SL series are supplied as standard separately or as a complete technological line consisting of one all-plastic biological reactor with the possibility of expansion by a pumping station (if necessary), or expansion by another technological line of the wastewater treatment plant.
Wastewater treatment plants of the AT 150 MBBR SL to AT 450 MBBR SL series are ideally suited for transportation by conventional truck or container transport.

Installation of the AT 150 MBBR SL to AT 450 MBBR SL wastewater treatment plant
The AT 150 MBBR SL to AT 450 MBBR SL wastewater treatment plants are installed in the excavation as embedded tanks on a reinforced concrete base plate with a thickness of approximately 300 mm so that the upper edge of the inspection inlets (chimneys) protrudes approximately 50 mm above the prepared terrain. The construction of the wastewater treatment plants is self-supporting without the need for concrete. The tank is backfilled with sorted material of the 4/8 mm fraction.
Backfilling must be carried out in layers while simultaneously creating counterpressure by admitting water into the tank.
